I'm a nose-to-the-grindstone writer and editor committed to humanistic storytelling, clear and persuasive institutional communication across a variety of media, and helping others tell and share their own stories.
I work primarily with words to craft strong, accessible messaging, and partner with other creative professionals — school leaders, designers, photographers, videographers, teachers, students — to broaden a story's reach and impact.
I’ve been compared to a terrier more than once, and I’m OK with that. I’m persistent and curious; I want to get to those under-the-radar details because they always make a richer, more persuasive story. I am meticulous with words and always ready to explore new ideas; possess years of project management and collaboration experience; and love to coach emerging writers and storytellers when the opportunity arises.
